DotList - Supplemental License Terms
Effective Date: 23 June 2025
(These terms add to Apple’s Licensed Application End‑User License Agreement. If the two disagree, the term that is more favorable to you as a consumer applies.)
1. Data & Privacy
DotList keeps all list data on your device; Danz L.L.C. never receives or processes it. For details, see our Privacy Policy.
2. License
You receive a personal, non‑transferable, revocable license to run DotList on Apple‑branded devices you own or control. You may not sell, sublicense, or host DotList as a network or SaaS service.
3. EU/UK download: loss of 14‑day withdrawal right
By tapping Get you request immediate download and acknowledge that your statutory 14‑day withdrawal right ends once the download starts (Directive 2011/83/EU art 16 m).
4. Reverse engineering
You may not decompile, reverse‑engineer, or disassemble DotList except where a law expressly allows it (for example, 17 U.S.C. §â€¯107 or EU Directive 2009/24/EC arts 5–6).
5. Updates & statutory conformity (EU/UK only)
We will provide every security, functionality, and compatibility update that applicable consumer protection law requires for as long as that law requires it. You will be notified of required security updates in App Store release notes and, where feasible, with in‑app prompts.
6. Warranty & liability
United States — DotList is provided “as is,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or quiet enjoyment, to the maximum extent the law allows.
EU/UK — This disclaimer does not affect rights under Directive (EU) 2019/770 or the U.K. Consumer Rights Act 2015.
In all regions our total liability is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you paid for DotList or (ii) USD 10 / EUR 10 / GBP 8, except where such a cap is not permitted (for example, in cases of death, personal injury, fraud, or gross negligence). We are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect damages.
7. Age notice
DotList is not intended for children under 13 (U.S.) or 16 (EU) without verified parental consent.
8. Termination
This license ends immediately if you materially breach §§â€¯2, 3, or 7. On termination you must delete every copy, subject to any non‑waivable right to keep a copy for data retrieval or evidence.
9. Dispute resolution
Email contact@danzllc.com with “Dispute” in the subject; we will try to resolve the matter within 30 days.
United States — You may sue in small‑claims court (up to USD 20,000) in Denton County, Texas, or in your county of residence.
EU/UK — You may sue in your home courts or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
10. Governing law & changes
Texas law governs, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer protections of your residence (Rome I art 6(2)).
We may update these terms at any time by posting a new version. The updated terms take effect on the post date, and your continued use of DotList after that date means you accept them.
