DotList - Supplemental License Terms

Effective Date: 1 May 2026

These Supplemental License Terms apply to your use of DotList and add to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Supplemental License Terms conflict with Apple’s agreement or with applicable consumer protection law, the term more favorable to you as a consumer applies.

1. Data & Privacy

DotList stores your list content locally on your device. Danz L.L.C. does not operate servers that receive, host, or process your list content.

Apple may process App Store purchases, downloads, analytics, crash reports, and related information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies. If you contact us by email, we will process the information you choose to send us.

For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

2. License

You receive a personal, limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use DotList on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by Apple’s App Store terms.

You may not sell, sublicense, rent, lease, distribute, host, or make DotList available as a network, hosted, or software-as-a-service product.

3. Purchases, Refunds & Cancellation Rights

Purchases, downloads, refunds, and any in-app purchases for DotList are handled through Apple and are subject to Apple’s terms and applicable consumer protection law.

Nothing in these Supplemental License Terms limits any non-waivable refund, cancellation, withdrawal, or consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country or region.

4. Reverse Engineering

You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, attempt to derive the source code of, or create derivative works from DotList, except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

5. Updates & Statutory Rights

We may provide updates to DotList from time to time, including security, compatibility, bug-fix, or feature updates.

For users in jurisdictions with mandatory digital-content or consumer-protection laws, including the EU and UK, nothing in these Supplemental License Terms limits any non-waivable right you may have to receive updates, remedies, refunds, repairs, or other statutory protections required by law.

Required security or compatibility updates may be described in App Store release notes and, where appropriate, through other reasonable notices.

6. Warranty & Liability

DotList is provided “as is” and “as available,” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim all warranties that may be disclaimed by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and quiet enjoyment.

This disclaimer does not limit any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country or region, including rights under Directive (EU) 2019/770, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, or similar consumer protection laws.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for DotList or USD $50.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including for death, personal injury, fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost data, lost profits, business interruption, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Because DotList stores list content locally on your device, you are responsible for maintaining any backups you consider necessary.

7. Age Notice

DotList is not directed to children under 13.

Users under the age required by their country’s law should use DotList only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

8. Termination

This license ends automatically if you materially breach these Supplemental License Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Upon termination, you must stop using DotList and delete any copies in your possession, except where applicable law gives you a non-waivable right to keep a copy for data retrieval, evidence, or another lawful purpose.

9. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, please email contact@danzllc.com with “Dispute” in the subject line. We will try to resolve the issue informally within 30 days.

United States: You may bring eligible claims in small-claims court in Denton County, Texas, or in your county of residence, where permitted by law.

EU/UK and other regions: Nothing in these Supplemental License Terms limits any right you may have to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence or to use consumer redress bodies available under applicable law.

10. Governing Law & Changes

Texas law governs these Supplemental License Terms, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer protections provided by the laws of your country or region.

We may update these Supplemental License Terms by posting a new version. Updated terms apply prospectively from the posted effective date.

If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide notice where required by law. Your continued use of DotList after the updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

By installing or using DotList, you accept Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement and these Supplemental License Terms.
