1 . WHAT DATA WE PROCESS

1.1 App data (stored locally only)

• Source: your device

• Typical contents: lists, tags, in‑app settings

• Retention & control: data stays on‑device until you delete the app.

â—¦ If you enable iCloud, Apple stores an end‑to‑end‑encrypted copy that you may erase from iCloud at any time.

Regional notes

EU/EEA & UK  No legal basis is required because Danz L.L.C. never receives or processes this data (GDPR Recital 15).

United States  No collection means no “sale,” “sharing,” or statutory retention obligations apply.

1.2 Crash reports (optional)

• Source: Apple Inc. – only if Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Analytics ▸ “Share With App Developers” is ON

• Typical contents: device model, iOS version, timestamp, locale, anonymised stack trace

• Retention: 12 months after receipt

• Opt‑out: turn the OS switch OFF and future reports stop immediately.

Regional notes

EU/EEA & UK  Legal basis: legitimate interests for diagnostics (GDPR Art 6 (1)(f)).

United States  Reports are collected only with the OS‑level opt‑in; they are never “sold” or “shared.”

1.3 Support e‑mails (only if you contact us)

• Source: you

• Typical contents: your e‑mail address and the message you send

• Retention: up to 4 years (Texas civil‑limitation period) or sooner if you request deletion.

Regional notes

EU/EEA & UK  Legal basis: legitimate interests to answer your inquiry (GDPR Art 6 (1)(f)).

United States  Used solely to respond; never “sold” or “shared.”

No other data collected – DotList does not collect advertising identifiers, usage analytics, or location data.

2 . INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

EU/EEA & UK

• Crash reports are processed by Apple Inc. (USA), certified under the EU‑US Data Privacy Framework (DPF); Apple also relies on Standard Contractual Clauses where needed.

• When Apple forwards a crash report to us, the same safeguards apply.

• EU representative: exempt under GDPR Art 27 (2)(a) (occasional, low‑risk processing). We review this regularly and will appoint a representative if requirements change.

United States

• Reports remain within Apple’s U.S. infrastructure before reaching us; no cross‑border transfer rules apply.

3 . SECURITY (applies globally)

  • DotList makes no network calls of its own; the only outbound traffic is the optional iOS crash‑report upload.

  • On‑device data benefits from Apple’s file‑system encryption when a passcode or biometric lock is set.

  • Danz L.L.C. operates no servers that store DotList user data.

4 . YOUR RIGHTS

EU/EEA & UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)

• Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection (Arts 15–21).

• Withdraw crash‑report consent at any time via the iOS switch noted above.

• Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (Art 77).

• We respond within one month (extendable to two for complex requests – Art 12 (3)).

United States (California & similar state laws)

• Request deletion or correction of support e‑mails we hold.

• Request a list of personal‑information categories collected in the past 12 months.

• Confirm that we do not “sell” or “share” your data.

• Response time: 45 days, extendable once where permitted.

How to exercise any right: e‑mail contact@danzllc.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject.

DotList performs no automated decision‑making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

5 . CHILDREN (applies globally)

DotList is not directed at children under 13 (or any higher age set by local law, up to 16) and knowingly collects no data from them. Parents may e‑mail us to delete any support message sent by a child.

6 . CALIFORNIA & OTHER U.S. STATE LAWS (United States only)

  • DotList does not “sell” or “share” personal information under the CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, ColoPA, or similar laws.

  • Notice at Collection (California): the only category we might receive is identifiers (your e‑mail) – and only if you contact support.

  • California residents can request deletion, disclosure, or correction of such e‑mails; see Section 4 for how to submit a request.

7 . CHANGES (applies globally)

We will post any revisions at danzllc.com/privacy and update the “Effective date” shown above.
